A Cherished Annual German
Christmas Event
The San Antonio Deutsche Weihnachtsfeier is a non-denominational candlelight celebration held in December at Trinity University’s Margarite B. Parker Chapel. It features choral music, congregational carol singing, scripture, and seasonal poems that give life to the Christmas story in German.
The service is preceded by an organ recital and features music by sixty voices of the Beethoven Männerchor and the San Antonio Liederkranz. In addition to Trinity University students’ reading of scripture, students from area high schools contribute to the event with readings of Christmas poetry.
Join us at Trinity University’s Margarite B. Parker Chapel.
It’s a great way to kick off the Holiday Season. Come early to be sure of a seat!
The event is open to the public and free of charge.
